From Russell Heights Road it is a 5 minute walk by road down to lovely Long Beach. Sea kayaking, sailing, fishing, diving and Bay of Islands tours are available year-round. Explore the Bay and see dolphins, islands and sometimes whales. For a tiny town Russell has a goodly share of restaurants, an internet shop, two grocery stores, various shops and galleries. The house is modern, very light and sunny and enjoyed by all for its cheerful colour and the owner/artist's mosaics.
